Editorial policy
Everything on this site is written the way we’d explain it to you in a treatment room. This policy covers how our pages are written, reviewed, and corrected.
Who writes our pages
Pages and posts are written by the Skinovatio Arlington Heights Clinical Team. Named authors are added as each one is confirmed, with their credential and the treatments they perform. We publish a bio only once those details are verified.
How we check them
Every clinical claim is checked against the product label, the FDA’s own documents, or the published study before a page goes up. Each page is reviewed for clinical accuracy.
Where the facts come from
Medical claims are sourced inline, with a link where one exists: product labels, FDA clearance and approval documents, peer-reviewed studies, and named public sources such as the Village of Arlington Heights, Metra, and the Census. We don’t cite other clinics or quote experts we can’t name.
Words we use, and words we don’t
Devices like Morpheus8, Forma, and the GentleMax Pro are FDA-cleared, and we write “cleared,” never “approved.” Botox, Dysport, Kybella, and the named fillers are FDA-approved drugs or devices for specific uses, and we say “for” the approved use only. We don’t describe results as “permanent,” call a treatment the “best,” or offer guarantees. Individual results vary, and we say so on every page that discusses results.
Prices
Cost depends on your treatment plan, so every treatment page explains what drives the cost, why a series may be recommended, and how the deposit comes off your treatment.
Results and reviews
Every before-and-after photo is consented and labeled with the treatment, the number of sessions, the weeks between photos, and the location. Reviews are published unedited and labeled by source. We don’t paraphrase reviews or write them ourselves.
Updates and corrections
Pages are re-read whenever a label, a clearance, or our own protocol changes. If you spot an error, please use the contact form to tell us which page, and we’ll correct it and update the date.
