About Skinovatio Medical Spa, Arlington HeightsIt all adds up.
Your skin, your face and your goals all shift over time. Good aesthetic care keeps up with every one of them.
Getting to know you comes first.
Before anything else, we want to hear from you: what you’ve noticed, what you’d like to change, what you’ve tried, and how much downtime fits your life. Then we look at your skin together in the daylight from our front windows and build your plan around you.
- 01
A conversation first
Your consult is free, and it’s time set aside for your questions. Bring photos, your treatment history, anything that helps us understand what you’d love to see.
- 02
Familiar faces
Our Arlington Heights team gets to know each patient, so you’ll see people who know your plan and remember what you told us each time you come back.
- 03
Comfortable, start to finish
We’ll explain what you’ll feel before we begin and check in with you as we go. Parking is free right outside Suite C, so heading home afterward is easy.
- 04
Looking after you afterward
Questions after a treatment? Call us at (847) 637-5882. We look again at your two-week check and adjust your plan together as your skin changes.
It usually starts with one thing.
A line that didn’t used to be there. Skin that looks a little duller, or a jawline that feels softer than it did last year.
That first thing you noticed is where we start, whether this is your first treatment or your tenth.

There’s usually more than one reason.
The thing you see first is rarely working alone. Skin quality, muscle movement, volume, collagen, hormones, daily habits and past treatments all play a part, so a good plan starts by figuring out which ones matter most for you.
- Muscle movementEvery frown, squint and raised brow folds the skin in the same place.Botox and other neuromodulators
- +Skin qualityDry, thinner skin holds on to a crease longer.HydraFacial, peels
- +CollagenWith less of it, skin doesn’t spring back as quickly.Microneedling, Morpheus8
- +VolumeVolume loss nearby makes a line look deeper than it is.Filler
- PigmentUneven tone can make skin look rougher than it feels.IPL, VI Peel
- +HydrationSkin that’s short on moisture looks dull and a little crepey.HydraFacial
- +CollagenFine lines, and pores that look bigger than they used to.Microneedling, Morpheus8
- +ScarringPast breakouts can leave small dips and ridges.Microneedling with PRP, Morpheus8
- LaxitySkin along the jaw and neck starts to loosen.Morpheus8, Forma, PDO threads
- +VolumeCheek fat pads shift and flatten over time.Filler
- +StructureThe chin and jaw lose some of their support.Chin and jaw filler
- +CollagenFirmness fades a little each year.Morpheus8, microneedling
- +Fullness under the chinExtra fullness softens the line of the jaw.Kybella
Match the treatment to the layer.
Each treatment works at a different depth. Botox relaxes the muscles behind expression lines, filler restores volume, IPL targets pigment and redness, microneedling and RF build collagen deeper in the skin, and a facial takes care of the surface. Choosing the right one is most of the work.
Beyond the face For the body, Morpheus8 Body and Forma. For medical weight loss, semaglutide and tirzepatide. For thinning hair, PRP, one of our most popular treatments in Arlington Heights. We don’t offer body-contouring devices here, but Kybella can treat a double chin, and Morpheus8 or Forma can firm loose skin.
Some changes show up fast. Others build slowly.
Collagen and skin quality improve over months, not days. How often you come back depends on what you’re treating and how far along you are, and your plan can change as your skin does.
We schedule most IPL and laser sessions between October and April, when there’s less sun, and you’ll stay out of the sun for two weeks before and after each one.

The best devices and products still depend on the hands using them.

Here’s how that plays out, starting with your very first visit.
-
1
Your consult
We look at your skin together in daylight and ask what’s changed and what you’d like. There’s no obligation to book a treatment the same day.
-
2
A written plan
Your provider tells you which product or treatment they recommend, and why, before anything is opened. Your plan goes home with you in writing.
-
3
A gentle first treatment
We like to start on the lighter side. It’s easy to add more later and much harder to take away.
-
4
A two-week check
We see you again at two weeks and fine-tune anything that needs it. Our medical director also reviews every plan, not only the provider you saw.
Injectables
Led by our nurse practitionersEvery injectable starts with a consult, the product named before it’s opened, a written plan and a gentle first dose, followed by a check at two weeks.
Skin and devices
Led by our medical estheticiansWe look at your skin in daylight, ask what the next few months look like for you, and give you a clear recommendation: which device, how many sessions, and how much downtime to expect.
Weight loss
Led by our nurse practitionersMedical weight loss follows the same approach as everything else we do: a written plan, regular check-ins with your provider, and adjustments based on how you’re doing.
