How injectables work
Injectables work in one of three ways
Lines, hollows and thinning skin have different causes, so they need different tools. Your consult is where we work out what's behind the change you see.
Relax
Tox calms the small muscles that fold skin into lines on the forehead, between the brows and around the eyes. It shows at 3 to 7 days and lasts about 3 to 4 months.
Refill
Hyaluronic acid filler replaces volume where it has thinned, such as the lips, cheeks or jawline. You see it right away, and it settles over two weeks.
Rebuild
Sculptra and PRF prompt your skin to make its own collagen. The change builds over a few months, so it looks gradual.
Lift and contour
PDO threads add a modest lift along the jaw, and Kybella breaks down a small pocket of fat under the chin over a few sessions.

Injectables: your questions, answered
How much does Botox cost in Arlington Heights?
Tox is priced by the unit, starting at $10 a unit for Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Jeuveau and Letybo. A first visit for the forehead, frown lines and crow's feet usually uses about 40 to 56 units, and your provider confirms the count with you before injecting. You can pay in 4 with Afterpay or Klarna.
Botox or filler: which one do I need?
Tox softens lines that show when you move, like frown lines and crow's feet. Filler replaces volume that has thinned, like flat cheeks or thin lips. Lines that stay when your face is at rest often do best with both, which your provider will talk through at your free consult.
Which filler brands do you use?
Our menu lists RHA, Versa and the Restylane range, and your provider chooses the product for each area. The dermal fillers page compares the main brands and what each is approved for.
How long do results last?
Tox lasts about 3 to 4 months. Hyaluronic acid filler usually lasts 9 to 18 months, depending on the product and the area, with lips wearing off fastest. Sculptra builds slowly over a few months and lasts longer.
Is there any downtime?
Tox has none beyond small bumps for about 30 minutes. Filler can cause swelling and bruising that settles over about two weeks, so book at least two weeks before an event or photos.
